Cuyamaca Oct 30
I just wanted to share a picture of the fish I caught at Cuyamaca on Thursday. The lake is really low. Even in the middle it is only 10 feet and it was hard to locate any structure. However it was an absolutely beautiful day and had a great time cruising around the lake watching eagles, deer, and Turkeys.

At least you tried.
Heck remember me telling you the other day about my adventure up to Cuyamaca years back.
Make tons of casts and basically threw everything but the kitchen sink....especially several casts with topwater baits at carp stirring along the surface that could have been bass. Not one bite till I was about 15 minutes from leaving and caught a bass on a senko...probably about 2.5lbs. Needless to say it was fun exploring a lake that no doubt may have some big bass in it......but the long drive home helped me decide to not go back there for a long, long, long time.
. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us Dan. Tight lines next trip.
