Those are fun. We use to have Floatation Nation. Fisheromen started his tubin days then. Oldirtybasser started it.

I have had 100 and 200 fish days on plastics. That's just how i fish. Although when top water is working I'm doing it. If you don't get bit keep moving. If they are there they will bite.

Been hitting San V a few times. There has been a lot of silver sides. Hard baits get me the dinks. Plastics get me a verity of sizes. Managed to land a Kitty over 20lbs. There is 1 spot that has been producing skinny ones. Not sure what is wrong or happening to them.

Went to San V. The water is down to muscles now. Easy to cut your line as I did. I started top water pushed it for as long I can stand it for nothing. I use braid on my spinning reels. I change the leader size in different situations. Most of our lakes are high pressured.
I just got back from a vaca back east Ohio to Maine down to New York. So many lakes and rivers. There what they call ponds are bigger then anything we have.

Camped there last month. There were plenty of trout most small. Small cast master and drop shot.

Picked up a BFS set up and landed a double digit. Just a different kind.

On a jig, using BFS and battle to remember.

I was expecting to look at the pic and see Vinny behind me.
Funny you saw the fish, it jumped out just as he was taking the picture. I try to remember and close the lid as they jump out all the time.
