Fished the sweets a couple of times last week just to get some fishin in. Not a constant wide open bite with the bites coming every so often mostly due to the fact I was using heavier gear.That overgrown brush due to the water being higher eats the light line stuff and snags easy.

The City claims they can't charge the joggers, walkers, and picnickers to use the City lakes..but it's perfectly fine to charge the fisherman! The lake Rangers claim those walkers and picnic people are their biggest pain to deal with..so why do the fisherman have to pay for all those people's ...

I was blessed with great weather, overcast skies and light wind.
I just couldn't do my part, I started early chasing bluegill, the bass just were all over the bait, only one bluegill.
Moved on to catch a few bass, my bluegill skills are short .I truly enjoy catching them,
