Dixon lake Bass report

Post by Early release »

Dixon Lake update on Bass. This fish had a few eager friends, but she was the most photogenic. I was just walking the shore pounding along with a #7 Rapala and they were very cooperative. I'd like to say that's a surfcasting rod and she was huge, but it's really about a 20" fish, which is still a lot of fun on light line, add weeds and a dock and you have a winning combination.

Dixon was my favorite lake growing up. My dad would drop my brother and I off in the morning and we’d walk the bank throwing mostly split shot reapers and we always caught fish and have a good time.

Great report, I may have to pay Dixon a visit soon.
