Murray 5/23
Rad day at Murray. I stopped counting at 30 fish. Lots of bass in the high 2 pound range and 3 fish over 3 pounds. Also caught the biggest bluegill I've ever seen. Fat as hell. It's mouth was big enough for my scale and it weighed in at 2.54 lbs.
So much fun, it almost makes me regret leaving on vacation next week

I don't know what it is, to me all those sunfish and different kinds of bluegill all fall under the broad category of "bluegill". It does have sort of crappie markings to me though. It sure was big.

Great job out Dan!
I a so curious to know is how many times do you circle the lake? I have watched you cover the whole lake fishing along the shorelines. That is really smart thinking because you’re covering so much area where most people just hit a handful of spots. The more areas you cover fishing, the more opportunities that a bass that may be waiting for you. You definitely play it smart, and my hats off to you for mastering that pattern. Tight lines

Re: Murray 5/23
Today Padre Bay held a ton of fish so I mostly circled that. I move around till I find areas that are holding hungry fish, then I usually work that area over pretty good before moving on.VinnyBass wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 6:32 pm Great job out Dan!
