My understanding is late March they opened the spillway for El Cap, to allow a bunch of water to enter sd river....
Maintain / drop water level....

Great to see the new site up and running. Was starting to freak out not being able to read the Barrett reports.

Nice forum. Will be looking forward to all the bass reports now that the lake levels have all been replenished.

Cool to see this up and running. I have been unsuccessful trying to post a pic to go along with my post in the Bass area about lake murray. Followed the instructions and still nothing. Anyway....hope to figure it out.

I figured it out after a bit as I went though those simple steps and the reason it did not work was because I was naming the file with hyphen,dashes, periods of something and after I renamed the pic something with out them....like just the word Bass....it worked.

Also a big thank u to the administrator for resurrecting this web site and forum(s). It is indeed a great way to keep the City(lakes) accountable for some questionable decisions they have made in the past, specifically concerning Barrett. Stay tuned.

Below is the San Diego City Lakes Schedule to use mostly as a reference.
I posted this because it is not fun to drive all the way to a lake and find out it is closed that day.
First of all, Lake Hodges is CLOSED.
Lake Barrett will be opening in May(May 3rd, I believe?)
I am not sure about Upper ...

Haven’t been on the old site for quite some time. Then last week wanted to look something up and it as gone. Not sure what went down and honestly don’t care. I’m just glad to have a San Diego fish forum to see what’s hot in SDfishing

FYI.......I have been told by the City that they are looking at the 1 day/month closure of the lakes. It will be before the Council this fall and hopefully it will be back to where there is no 1 day/month lake closure. Stay tuned.
