Hey everyone, I saw this on Nextdoor.
If you go to https://www.change.org/topic/san-diego there is currently a petition to sign to keep Lake Miramar open more than just 2 days a week.
I imagine there will be many San Diegans out there doing what they can to try to fight reduced SD City lakes access ...

What we learned: 6 City council members think the lakes are important and should stay open..and we learned that Toad Glorious hates fisherman!

Can boats be launched?

It's hard to rely on the water level at Miramar..you never know...

I remember two years ago I went up on a Saturday just to look at the water level and knew I could launch my kayak. Then on Monday, I drove up to the lake and the water came down a lot, but there was still about 10 feet or more before the end of the drop off of the ramp, so I launched my kayak.

Yes, you can shore pound, kayak, float tube or hand carry a small boat. I highly doubt we'll be able to launch a boat at Hodges in our lifetime!

Thrown a lot of Hud's there from my boat back in the day and all I ever got was a bunch of followers. I did farm one.... Does that count...Hahaha
