Re: Hodges Opener
Put gas in the tank, picked out some rods, and grabbed too many baits. Can’t wait.

Yes, you can shore pound, kayak, float tube or hand carry a small boat. I highly doubt we'll be able to launch a boat at Hodges in our lifetime!

Re: Hodges Opener
My compadre Kei got on the Crappie, trolling Flicker Shads and hitting the schools with jigs. All quality, not huge numbers. Got blown off the water early. Didn’t matter, the heat came in and got everybody else.

Re: Hodges Opener
Was there Saturday for a re-con. Store was still not open. I talked to Cody( City employee) he said that Laina could not find anyone to work. If u know her TommyGun maybe suggest that she reach out to the Friends of Lake Hodges for some volunteers? Was a little slow for the bassers but the crappie guys seemed to be doing well. Great addition with the ramp mat.
