Who’s ready for the best D&K season ever

Post by NotBassFishingAgain »

I would like to say I’m surprised… but I’m not. It’s become pretty routine to not get your hopes up for our lakes in San Diego. I know it’ll be back up eventually but every single year I just get disappointed with SD lakes management. Maybe next year..

We can thank the worthless water district and the city of san diego mayor. Oh and go to san v, as most of Sutherlands water is in it now. Lets see thats Hodge, El Cap and Sutherland not fishable now. Hell of a place to live.

Is san v leaking? All that water going on and it dont seem that high.
That santa isabel arm had big ones in 3"-12"" of water at the end on last season. Got some on reaction and top water back there. Usually late evening, it was so much fun.
When it was full, tons of cats back in there.

San V's water level won't go up because we're using that water for drinking water! I assume it's being pumped to Murray's filtration plant. Mayor Toad Glorious said he'd rather use up all of our lake's water rather than buy water from up north. Normally D.K. would be refilling now from runoff, but they're still taking water out to keep San V going! I'm thinking what you see now at D.K. is what you're going to see at the opener in March..or even worse! I wonder at what point we will run out of water and have to buy more from the MWD...They will have us by the juevos when that time comes! Plus, Toad has been us in a huge money deficit, so good luck finding the money to buy water...expect more parking and trash fees!

Praying for rain, and to leave it in the lakes, if and when it comes.

I don’t think the rain is gonna fill it because they keep draining it, which is really really sad!

I assume it’s a Donald and Kiefer Sutherland reference and, by extension, code for the lake with the same name.

That’s funny because Fisheromen is the guy who made it up.

I just saw the lake with my own eyes and as cool as it is to see exposed high spots, rockpiles, and big ole tree stumps, that lake may be in serious trouble by the end of summer. Hope you guys like combat style fishing

I’m gonna be standing on my rock pile keeping it safe from intruders. Just kidding …….it is gonna be pretty weird out there.

Yes I’m glad that Socal government has prepared for the summertime drought conditions year after year and retained our precious rainwater in our reservoirs by keeping them full. Oh wait… that would make too much sense
