water temp 72 to 74 on sunday 04/30

Nope no crazy carp spawn going on Sunday and did see a few small fish explode when cast my baits to certain areas, couldnt tell if it was fry or shad, but definitely no big shad/bass blow up seen. Appears a little muddy for that and water stil coming in around the lake.

Weird the change in a couple days. Had a small club tourney Sunday only 4 people fished. First place was 4 fish for 8+ lbs, 2nd place 5 fish for 8+ lbs, 3rd place 3 fish 4+ lbs and I got 1 keeper and 2 shorts.3.75 was big fish. i know Im old and sight and hearing are going but I didnt smell anyting ...

All the lakes hit and miss this year. Was at Cap yesterday and got lucky with 5 fish between 1.41 and 3.21 lbs. Left at 1230.

I lived in Tennessee for 2+ yrs and there is "No launch fees on most ramps and no fees to fish", you go 7/24 and fish 365 days a year.

Well glad I wasnt in your rant, i was in a tracker and 2 of my buddies who were out where not mentioned either and all 3 of us fish tournaments. Was out there yesterday and didnt feel crowded. Maybe just used to it. Had a decent day. 8 fish from 1.97 lb to 3.25 lb, best 5 around 13.5 lb. Was not fishing hardbaits, just worms and they seemed to work but only in 2 spots of the half dozen areas I hit. Better luck next time Moose, I cant catch ...

You may be right, I never went beyond the floating outhouse and then only for a half hour the rest of the day was towards the main lake area.

We can thank the worthless water district and the city of san diego mayor. Oh and go to san v, as most of Sutherlands water is in it now. Lets see thats Hodge, El Cap and Sutherland not fishable now. Hell of a place to live.
