vertical jigging and casts and finally hooked my first bass on a blade at around 10:40. Then a little while later, I picked up a few more bass on blades. I then started alternating baits between ice jigs, spoons, a graph shad and heavier bladed baits.
I was pretty lucky as the bass seemed to like the variety. Despite 3 bass coming unbuttoned on jumps near my boat, I was able to land 12 bass (without one micro bass..yay!),all out in deep water. (What's funny was I was stuck on 11 bass and then lost one. I wanted that 12th bass so I stubbornly stayed out there for another 35 minutes to pick up my 12 fish
on a spoon). It was a late morning bite and glad I did not take off early and hope this is a good sign for better fishing days to come for all of us. Tight lines.

A few pics...
Just for laughs, for @Mcfish.. my 12th bass...not
big, but could not leave without him..ha ha
