It was a beautiful day at the Murr today. I got on the water at 8:00 and was off by 1:00. It was mostly cloudy, but not really cold, and no wind to speak of all day. The water was a bit cloudy after the rains, but not as bad as I expected it to be.
My final count was six, with most going over two pounds, and the largest was a fat 3.3 pounder. A BFS jig, and a small crank bait did all the work. I haven't fished for the last couple of weeks over the holidays so it felt really good to get back out there.

Re: Murray 1/6
Didn't want to make a separate post, but wanted to share a particularly pretty fish I caught today at Murray.
