Re: Werfless
Reactions are currently unavailable on this board engine. Hopefully they get added at some point in the future. The only thing they have now is the "thanks" button.Neuroshima wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 5:25 pm I miss the like/funny/disagree/helpful clicks we could do on the old site.

Re: Werfless
What would a local fishing forum be without Werfless? Most likely not werfless, but maybe werf a little less.

Re: Werfless
Lol.. not too active here, though I try to keep up a little. Don't feel as welcome here. I carry much more presence elsewhere as I don't feel so welcome. All good though, it's what the current people in charge want, so no big deal. No idea what I can and can't post here, I am an admin over on FishHype, I have a small presence on Twitter and TikTok, a slightly larger one on YouTube. Anyone who wants content from me can Google #werftv (is that allowed here, I dunno) and find me across platforms. Happy to post a report here and there. Will try to check in from time to time. Be well all, enjoy whatever you engage in as long as you can, none of these are forever. Thanks for the love over the years.

Come on @Werfless I think there are really only two that are not welcome here oh and Jesus and the constitution. SMH. Which is ridiculous but it is what it is. I hope you stick around

Re: Werfless
Only the format was cloned. These are different people, or else why launch a new site, when the old one could have been tidied up and rearranged a bit. I am an administrator on a couple of sites, and administrators can do great stuff behind the scenes on the forum's accompanying admin site. As near as I can tell, the only administrator that was on the old site hadn't made an appearance in over a year or more. Moderators can only do so much, and only have access to the forum itself.Fisheromen wrote: Mon May 01, 2023 12:57 pm Pretty sure this is not a re-launch of the old site. Why the comparison?

Re: Werfless
That's correct sir. We're in no way affiliated with the old SDFish. The format was copied simply to make it easier for the old crowd too adapt and some new features will also be added from time to time, depending on the demand.TaBASSco wrote: Mon May 01, 2023 2:16 pmOnly the format was cloned. Re: Werfless
Be patient, this is a new site and there are not as many users yet. I think I speak for plenty of members to say that you are welcome. You can post anything fishing related and you were never one for toxic posts anyhow, just stay away from religion and politics.Werfless wrote: Sun Apr 30, 2023 3:28 pm Lol.. not too active here, though I try to keep up a little. One thing that was good about the old sdfish.com site was the articles on fishing. The Mike Long stuff, that was stale after a while. I think there are users who would contribute articles like were on the old site, perhaps even yourself.
Any one who wants to see the old site articles can go to the Wayback Machine, example: https://web.archive.org/web/20230214110 ... dfish.com/
There is a copyright notice at the bottom of the page, not sure if it applies to the articles or not.

Re: Werfless
Saw that, @Gotfish ... Nabbed my old IV article off the old site and revamped it for the Fish Hype community articles page. Like I said, when my first post here is smack talked like my old posts over there by the same people, tells me what I need to know. I am far closer with Roman and Co over there, even doing a cookout for the MMFC on Saturday for the Club. Prefer Salt and the IV anyway, not too many care about a few micro fish and some (direct quote) "stupid F'ing one pound catfish" etc. Bass aren't really my thing, not that I ever smack talked the bass dudes too much... Ah well. Will try to keep up over here at least a little bit, my real effort will go elsewhere I think. I do appreciate this space though for sure. Take it easy
