Nothing spectacular this year...
This one was notable because it was the first trip after a big medical issue....and was just happy to get back out there. A fat stocker from Tuff Campground, near Tom's Place, caught using a homemade spinner and some Oxford commas.

There's nothin' wrong with goin' nowhere, baby
But we should be goin' nowhere fast.....

Is that bear right off the side of the boat? If so, looks like he could have crawled aboard.

Yes the brown bear is right next to the boat. The last day in Alaska we did the fly out trip on float plane/ bear viewing and red salmon fishing. The bears would come close enough to the boat while your fishing that you could have reached out and touched them. The bears pay absolutely no attention to you all they care about is catching salmon.

The lakes are frozen here in Wyoming. But I am looking forward to two weeks of fishing in SD first part of June. Here is a small lake trout.

Or maybe not. I can not seem to figure out how to ad the attachment. Obviously I don't do a lot of social media. Picture a monster I could barely haul in the boat.
