Nothing spectacular this year...
This one was notable because it was the first trip after a big medical issue....and was just happy to get back out there. A fat stocker from Tuff Campground, near Tom's Place, caught using a homemade spinner and some Oxford commas.

Yes the brown bear is right next to the boat. The last day in Alaska we did the fly out trip on float plane/ bear viewing and red salmon fishing. The bears would come close enough to the boat while your fishing that you could have reached out and touched them. The bears pay absolutely no attention to you all they care about is catching salmon.
