New tube ordered!
I finally pulled the trigger on a new float tube from Netherlands called Float Plus. Bladderless, dropstiched floor and seat, undermount motor ready, and they are installing the fold up wheels for me at no additional charge.
Of course I'll still have to glue on my fish finder mounting brackets, , rod mounts, etc...but still I am pumped. It should really move across the water nicely with my Bixpy motor.

Re: New tube ordered!
Are they throwing in the stand so you can show it off at the lake? Haha. Looks nice. I like the bladder less concept. Easier to locate and fix a leak while on water. Must be some heavy duty material. That black might get hot in the sun, I rattle can some blue/white camo on it. Deflect some heat.

No it means it is built like a white water raft. No insert bladders which are covered by a nylon case zipped around them. Like a modern tire on a car...no inner tube.DarkShadow wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 11:27 am Bladderless? Does that mean that it's permanently 'inflated?'

I know another guy who has one here in SD and he swears he hasn't noticed any heat issue. I thought the same thing but he sorta swung my opinion. I guess we will see.
I've been fishing in bladderless tubes and average of 4 days per week now for over 4 years and have never punctured one yet. The things are built tough. Like I said more akin to a white water raft than a traditional float tube.

Re: New tube ordered!
My first one (I don't remember the name) was a Christmas gift from my parents in 1975 I believe. It was a canvas cover over a truck inner tube with holes in the middle to hang your legs through so yeah, I'd say they've advanced a little lolDarkShadow wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 12:16 pmGotcha!Dannicus wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 2:18 amNo it means it is built like a white water raft.
