Fishing is not allowed off Scripps Pier otherwise I would drop a line while looking at the webcam on my phone. Would love to be able to watch as fish approach my lure or natural bait. Probably get exciting if I snagged one of those humans too.

Good stuff right now. clear water moderate surge, big school of bait (white seaperch? walleye?) in view. 4 lobsters chillin on the piling...another one walking up and down the piling in the background.

That's cool. They look like shiner surfperch . The two in the second image. That's my guess.
