Nice, thinking about taking the boat out there soon. That's actually why I was checking out the bay section

San V is working on a project to make hydroelectric power by pumping water up to a yet to be built lake..and then send the water back to San V to make electricity..still in the planning stages I believe. I would think it is like what they do at Hodges and Olivenhain reservoirs.

Almost the exact same thing happened to me a couple years back at the Murr. Fun fight, but a little disappointing when you find out it's not a bass.

How deep are you fishing that blade and how heavy is it?

No salmon in the SD RIver. Heck they could not survive a day in that water....ha ha

Looks like San V is open Thurs-Mon, and Cap is open Fri-Tues. Hours vary by season.

Condolences. I know that nothing eases that pain, but that's a beautiful fish nonetheless.

I'm glad to see that it looks like that spot has bounced back. It used to be one of my favorite places to fish, but there was a big die-off several years back. I have caught some good ones in there.
