This was last Sunday, first time in three years I chased the 'toothy critters'

I've been on other forums for years, just found this one. None the less, figured I would post something. This was last Sunday, it taped out a tad over 100" (largest male I've seen). Quick measurement and returned to the water, swam away strong. Always good to find a forum, hopefully you guys don't ...

Seem to recall jerk & swim baits were your forte, no baits ? Does your dad still get out with you occasionally?


The only time I use bait is when I shark fish, which is very seldom these days. My father will be 98 in Sept, his sand days are over do to balance problems. But I take him to the pier ...

Try half a mackerel and stay away from squid. When we used to use squid we ended up catching a lot more rays than leos. It'll happen, good luck
