Returned to the SD River this morning after landing 2 bass on 3 bites 3 days ago. It was almost "Deja vu" only this time I got 4 bites and landed 3 bass. Spent the first 3 weeks of vacation camped at Cottonwood AZ. Took day trips to the Grand Canyon, Tuzigoot, Montezuma Castle and all the surrounding monuments and towns. I never did locate a good spot to launch my tube so I didn't fish for 3 weeks.

Late post but wanted to share. Fished Murray Thursday morning. I was able to hit this beauty off a drop shot. Pulled some drag and immediately knew it was a good one. Biggest one for me this year. Scaled at 4.14lbs. Tight lines guys!

I made a trip to Murray last week. No topwater. A couple on Texas rig. 14 on a 3" fluke style bait. A couple 4lbers and as it has been a bigger one that got away.

Haven't fished the SD river since June 23 and figured I would do a quick morning session and take off before it gets too hot.
