5/1 D.K.

Post by Dfishin »

Decided since El Cap was closed to make a trip to D.K. I haven't been in at least 10 years, when Fisheromen was a lot younger. Ran into Mcfish at the pay station. He gave me some pointers (thanks!). Figured I would see him on the water, I did not. Pretty sure I saw Fisheromen leaving early. The place was crowded. Lots of horses and cows. There was horse porn going on in the back of the cove. That little lady was wagging her tail and they were on her one after another. I fished all over, but didn't get to the dam. I used DS, BBH, IKA, topwater nothing and no reaction bite for me. Pretty much had to be scratching rock to get bit. Problem is everyone was on most of the rocks. I found a few not being ganged up on. The fish were smaller for me then the Cap fish, 1 1/2, 2 lbs. My biggest was 2 3/4 and 23 total. When packing up I managed to step in cow stuff that they left just for me. Fun day!
Side note: If you got broke off back in the cove on a neko rig and thought it was a big one. It was 1.43lbs.

Thanks! It's a bit of work to load and unload all the stuff, but it's worth it to me. There was another guy in a pontoon that I saw?

I didn't want to disturb anyone. Felt out of place with all you locals.

Rocks worked! I'm guessing you didn't wear your big hat? That's what I was looking for.

Quite a few Ramona guys...we're pretty mellow, even accept Vinny....sometimes! There are a couple that will tell you that you're on their rocks...we just humor them....! Mostly just a bunch of old guys!

I figured you switched hats so I couldn't find you. There was a lady that sat on the same rock pile all day.

Yes Kayak. I fished some rocks behind her and caught a few. Then on the other side found some rocks for some more.
