I threw practically the entire arsenal at them today. The final count was 8. Nothing huge, but all were solid 2+ pounders so I am not complaining. Every fish came courtesy of a tiny Megabass Griffon crank bait. They just wouldn't touch anything else.
Now watch, tomorrow I'll go back to the same lake, and they will ignore that bait completely. Why? Because they take great pleasure in forcing me to spend my grocery allowance on the latest new fangled bait. You know.... it's the only thing they want for dinner.
Bass are jerks like that!

Re: Murray 1/14
Speaking of new fangled baits.....
Going to try this rig for suspended bass tomorrow at Murray. Has anyone else tried it yet? I've watched some videos, and it seems like it might be a lighter, better suspending alternative to an A-rig. For a float tuber like myself with no FFS it might just work. We shall see.
