1st Local Suf Trip In A While

Post by Midnightpass »

I have missed fishing the local beaches lately, so I made a quick trip to Seal Beach with a few blood worms... There was a lot of eel grass to contend with, but did manage a decent corbina and calico... A small corb and two dink sand bass... Nothing huge but a fun day... And I managed to get that itch scratched... No fishing for a few weeks because of 3 surgical excisions over the next week (Too much sun. )...

The smaller corb on release..

A nice session I'd say. Beautiful photo of the bean.
I know the skin procedures well. Not fun but you do what you have to do.

Thanks guys...1st procedure done and good results (If you don't mind a 1/2 dollar size chunk removed from your shin. ) Two more... Worse thing is that the Dr. told me not to get it in the ocean for at least 2 weeks... The others shouldn't present as much of a problem, as they are higher on my body (Thigh and neck) and shouldn't get wet while fishing. ;) ...
