Never been able to will myself (or anyone else) into catching fish. Seems like there is no substitute for putting in the effort, time on the water, trying different tactics and failing from time to time.

Although I will confess that I have been suckered into buying the newest, greatest lure only to find it was a bust. Hello, Roland Martin's helicopter lure. Never tried Banjo Minnow, Walking Worm, Flying Lure or any of the other made for TV lures though. One bust was enough. Seems it is easier to fool some people than to fool fish.
