Fiesta Island 9/17
I Was on the island in the morning about 9:30 left at 11:30.
Caught 7 Bonefish. Nothing big. Lost a few that felt bigger.
Very windy today. Boat racing in Mission Bay this weekend.
Parts of the Bay will be closed.

Re: Fiesta Island 9/17
Tarpon are a fantastic game fish, but I was talking abut other species of bonefish.. Ours are the Cortez Bonefish Andy the record is about 15” and 1-1/2#.. The all tackle other species bonefish record is close to 40” ant 20#.. Ours is about the smallest species…Nelson 1 wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2026 1:10 pmThey put up a good fight for their size.Midnightpass wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2026 8:12 am I love those little guys...
