The Mayor just vetoed the Council on the lakes

Post by TommyP »

We are close but the mayor just stepped in and used his line item veto for all the lakes except Murray and Marimar. If you are on Facebook go to the Friends of SD Lakes to use a suggested email to send to the council members. If we can get six votes from the council we will WIN. Or you can just call or email the individual councilmembers as I have done. Time is of the essence.

Those are the lakes that cost the most to operate.
Toilet paper, trash pickup, parking.
No income what so ever, a true business man.
Put’em in the cooler!!!!

He obviously only cares about the walkers and joggers....he's basically saying " Screw the Fisherman"..! He knows most of us are not in the City and don't vote for the Clown!

They'll figure out a way to close the ocean soon enough.

Todd Gloryhole received double the salary as his predecessor when he took office. Over 100k more….he needs a pay cut.

Just saw Rob from the old SD fish on kusi at otay talking about the lakes. Not sure if he’s on here still.

Hey all, I live in the county, not the city, so none of these people care about my vote, but I did ask some friends and family in SD to send the message. So if you can't affect the council, affect someone they do care about.

Hey Guys.........if you go on the City of SD website you can find all the council members email address(s). I pasted the copy of the email from the Friends of SD Lakes(made a few changes and comments) to each of the Council. I am in Florida till the 26th, which is when the decision from the council will be made, if not before. You do not have to be a resident of the City to send comments. We still can win, please keep the pressure up on the Council.
