Nice to see @CorsoEnthusiast and @Early release today at El Capitan. Later in the afternoon @KillinTime (John) came by and introduced he and his son. We had a great chat. I have met so many awesome folks here on the forum.
I ended up catching 11 total. Most were between 2-3 lbs with the largest tipping the scale at 4.1. All came courtesy of either a jig or my skirted Texas rigged Ned bait concoction that I previously described in the BFS section. Every fish caught was so close to the bank they were practically walking the shoreline I was throwing my bait up onto the shore and gently plopping it into the water.
Anyway a fun albeit chilly day out there. I definitely should have brought a jacket.
Cheers

Re: El Capitan 4/25
It was off and on pretty breezy, so I had difficulty seeing my little BFS topwater baits. I threw them a few times, but gave up fairly quickly. It's coming though, I can feel it in my arthritic bones!
