Went ultralight fishing again at Otay. Caught a dozen or so small bass, but the highlight was seven large bluegill, all in the 2 to 2.5 pound range. Fish tacos here I come.

I fished Murray yesterday for Bass and it was a slog. Five hours to drum up a few dinks. I had so much fun at Otay last weekend I decided to go back to Murray today with ultralight gear and hooked up with a mess of really nice fat Bluegills.

I have also seen on the finder and ran into massive schools of bluegill at Murray. Even though I was fishing for bass, just for fun I picked up some bluegill using small spoons.
