I have also seen on the finder and ran into massive schools of bluegill at Murray.
Even though I was fishing for bass, just for fun I picked up some bluegill using small spoons.
I imagine if you were targeting them, you could have a lot of fun.

It's been a while since I've posted an actual fish report of my own so I thought I would finally share one.

Went to Otay last Sat. Got there at 6:15am.

Cold in the morning (46 degrees) but Had a very nice sunrise.

I got one crappie and missed a few others that whacked my jig but I blew the hookset timing (too much watching the electronics! :D ). But most of the crappie targeted were just uninterested or maybe couldn't see my lure right in front of them.

Came across this picture of a Redear I got out of San V a few years ago. Weighed 3.74 lbs. Don’t know if it’s still the case but the lake record was 3.76! Missed it by that 🤏 much! I thought it was a bass on a bed and was shocked as hell when I netted it. Actually lost a bigger one right after this ...

There not there quite yet, fished there yesterday , beautiful weather.
Lake is much lower than last year. It’s like fishing a new lake.
