Best one in a while...and it was an adventure.
Bit of a long story, but I have to share.
So hooked this girl on the far side of the small opening and the fight was on...she even jumped a couple times and then...she got tangled in a patch of tulles and was completely stuck. What to do? Tried all available angles and was stumped...so I then decided to us another rod to hook the tulle patch and used both to pull it close enough to grab some reeds and pull!!! Then I crawled out and reached for the lip, as I felt my boot filling with water and got her! 5lb12oz on my scale so I have decided the extea effort was worth it. 2 pics, same fish...

Nice job out there. Fishing small bodies of water are fun, especially when you catch nice bass!
Thanks for sharing.
Tight lines.

For sure! Whenever Im landing a fish big enough to pose with, my feet are getting wet.
My unofficial system: 4-6lbs = hand photo. Over 6 = timer pose photo. Usually with wet feet.
