9/10 Late to the party

I woke up at 2:15 my usual time to head to Barrett. Body said nope and went back to sleep and woke up at 6 ready to go. When I arrived I saw Shawn and Theo heading out. The weather was nice no big winds and not to hot. Not being dark missed that fishing fun. Not many rollers then none. No topwater for me. The bite was there I just kept casting all over in 10 to 20' of water. Mostly DS,TR and jig. Biggest 4 1/2, lost a couple nice ones 64 total. I had landed at pigs and Shawn and Theo were making there way in. It was nice talking to them and fishing as we did. Oh and thanks Shawn for helping me load my Tube.

Good to see you out there David! You did better than we did — slow day for us (about 50 total). Zero top water and plenty of smaller fish making our numbers. Although your secret weapon helped Theo at the end! Beautiful day on the water though!

Ummm. I'm going tomorrow and I can keep a secret.

It has been a good year so tomorrow is experiment day. Crazy colors. Weird presentations. Trying out new skills - especially any secret weapons.
