San Vee 5/22

Post by Stringbean »

It started very slow for me, none of my spots were producing. Thought I’d fish for them bass, came into a area, the meter lite up. I put down the bass rod, it was game on 9:00-11:00 am
Then it stopped.
Caught a limit of great fish.
Best day yet. It was so tuff before that, I was bummed. Thought no bluegill for me today.
Put’em in the cooler!!!!

That first fish, we have always called a Pumpkinseed. They have a longer gill-flap and look like they were painted by Timothy Leary. I was once told they were a hybrid of a Bluegill and Green Sunfish. Could be.
