(DRAMATIZATION)
I saw the Merry Men of Sherwood at the outskirts of the mayhem, so I wandered on over and before I can ask how many cormorants have followed their swimbaits today, the Resident Swimbaiter turns to me and says:
"You know what I just saw?"
"Me cleaning up about 100 yards of braid, discarded hooks, empty Power Bait jars, and $30 worth of aluminum cans thanks to the stocking?"
"Hmm ... No, I just saw that guy over there on the other side of the pond cast his $hit all the way over on this side of the pond."
"OK, and?"
"And from my calculations, he happened to cast right on top of this other guy right here next to us, who also cast towards the middle of the lake. What are the Vegas odds that their $hit gets tangled?"
And then we got our answer.
The guy on the other side of the lake began reeling their rig in, which got tangled up in the rig of the guy next to us. And of course, the bell on the end of his rod started ringing and all hell broke loose.
The guy on the other end of the pond thought he had a biggun. And so did our guy next to us, whose dog began going ape $hit as the bell continued to go off. They tugged and tussled with one another as they looked around for their respective nets, hootin' and hollerin', while we stood there cheering them on, giving them encouragement.
It took them a few minutes before they realized they were fighting each other, and it took them a few more minutes to decide who was going to open their bail and let their line loose.

The largies are on beds already and I try not to mess with them, although blind casting doesn't really guarantee you're not getting a fish off a nest. It was the first time in a while I got 5 solid keepers in an hour long stint. I got 2 of those on a bluegill glide, which is always a fun bite, especially when casting seemingly in the middle of no where. The average weight of these fish continues to get larger.

"Did you see the one that's bedding next to the Razor scooter?"
"Yep."
"Traffic cone?"
"Yep."
"Shopping cart next to the pipe?"
"Yep."
I think a bass would spawn next to a dead body given half the chance here.
