Hard work pays off
Well, honestly it is not that hard after all I am talking about walking along the bank of a small lake and casting...but it was hard to me. Been working at the Sulphur Creek Reservoir since my first trip saw a trout slaughtered by a bass. And for a long time I was skunked. Tried lots of different stuff and went 5 + trips with nothing. Then got a few drinks here and there recently and then yesterday finally got one that was really fun...been working with lighter line (just in case they were all spooked) and on all hallows eve I caught a monster!
Happy Halloween!
It was scary landing it on the steep bank...not a giant but a PB for the body of water!
Happy Halloween!
