Underwater Camera reviews

Post by galen »

I am curious to know if anyone has any experience with Aqua Vu or comparable camera systems. They are pretty expensive but seem like a pretty useful tool.

About 10+ years ago I borrowed a friend's Aqua View. I saw a lot of bottom, not many fish though. Good for finding fishing poles that have been dropped over board.

After watching a Mark Zona's show I got this:

It's too bulky to be easy to use on a float tube. But on a bass boat with 2 people and one acting as a spotter, it is supposed to be great for sight fishing spawning bass. I would part with it for 1/2 what I paid. Message me if interested. Lots of online info on it.

You can easily build your own almost FREE with any GoPro, some Coax cable and your smartphone. A long selfie stick is optional. I have shot some great videos with it.

Here is an example of how its done:

Cool footage. I do have an old GoPro, that could be a good option.
