Mission Beach 8/28

Good conditions yesterday, water warming up, salad free. No sand crabs until an hour before the 8:45 high; most had no roe. Quite a few guys chucking flies, more than I usually see. Lot of mid size perch & missed on a medium size bean, unbuttoned right in front of me. Then, was not looking for this guy and gave me all I could handle on my light setup. Guy working a fly next to me got into a larger one, looked like almost 4'.

I would think MB is too busy with people in the water to find an open spot to fish when its hot like this.

Not a problem if you get there at first light. Always out of there no later than 9 am to avoid the beach folks

About 66 - 67, didn't feel cold to me.

X2, I fish from greylight until around 9:00 also
