Best after work session ever!

Post by tomnilll »

Quick trip after a 10 hour work day, got to O'Neill about 5 o'clock. Tried a swim jig and then a football head with a big crawdad tail...nothing. Then went to the black 5 inch senko and everywhere I put it was a bass! Total was 18 in under 2 hours with 2 at 4 lbs and 2 just over 5! Did break off a few too and one was really big...but I am not complaining! Just a couple pics...

18 is a sure enough session, I was happy with 7 before 8am last Friday, all on Topwater then I took my protege, Jake, for a lesson on Bed Fishing. 15 minutes later….

What a great start to a day to wake up and read your post while enjoying a cup of hot coffee. Heck yeah! Did I say Heck yeah!!!!
Very nice job out there. I never fish the late afternoons or early evenings and maybe that is what I am missing out at...ha ha
I bet you were one happy guy even after a long day at work. It is funny how a pond or small area of water can be tough and
not produce too many fish on an outing(for me its the sd river) and then one day it goes off which is great!!!! Thank you for
posting your outstanding bass fishing adventure and tight lines always!!!!! :-)
