tried to switch it up this week and do some swimbait fishing for bass. tide was high today and there wasn't much current. surprising amount of bait fish activity before the sun peaked out. bite was slow but managed a few. Triple species day. What do you all like throwing at bait boils in the bay?

I do too when I'm in SD bay, but hard to use in MB with so little depth to work with. I did try throwing a little 7g iron for a bit, but I was just pulling in weeds. I think the high tide suspended all the crap that was sitting near shore.Nelson 1 wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 1:33 pm Good job. Nice variety of fish. I like throwing irons 1/2 oz to 3/4 Oz.

The only time I throw irons In Mission Bay is for mackerel or bonito. Mostly mackerel. At the jetty or the parking lot near the Red Marlin.HK_Supermarket wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 2:42 pmI do too when I'm in SD bay, but hard to use in MB with so little depth to work with.
