Mariner’s

Post by Larry »

Typical session this morning catching spotties then snagged a monster. Was thinking hali at first but after awhile it became dead weight. Towed me around Mariners and finally was able to beach and land the huge mud marlin on 10 lb. Was a fun surprise. Thanks

Just a Pup. We are inundated with 100-125 pounders up North. True Mud Tuna. Hard to get numbers when they take over an hour to get to the Boat….good for a giggle, kind of like giant Squid. Everybody should do it at least once.

Congrats if you can get a 100 pounder to the boat in an hour. Took me at least an hour in my float tube to get a 20 lb to shore on 10 lb line to release. I sometimes snag them fishing for spotties. One stubborn fish.
