Another nice morning out at South Mission. I had bait in the water by 6:30, and again took about an hour for the first bite. I used sand crabs from start to finish, caught 5-6 perch and…
… my first corbina! The darn thing kept running as it hit the sand but I eventually got it in. Brought it home to eat since it’s my first.
But the real highlight was meeting Perch Killer Bill on his way out. Nice meeting ya’ and I’ll surely see you around more often.

Good to meet you as well Joe, enjoyed sharing some sand with you this morning. Glad for you to get that nice corbina. They're a nice mild tasting, firm but not fishy. Hope you and your family enjoy it. I'm sure we'll run into each other again.
