7/3-Murray again....
Got to Murray around 7:30 am, which is a pretty late start but still managed to have fun picking up some on top. Nothing real big but always fun to watch them hit your bait on top of the water. Bass are feeding on shad all over and it has been a challenge at times even throwing right onto boils and the bass avoid your bait. They sure have good eye sight as I mixed it up a lot with things I would have gobbled up if I was a bass...ha ha Later fished some plastics and just picked up only dinks.
Just a few picks of some of the topwater bass
Most were small... A little better... Oh yeah...McFish guaranteed me a 8lb'er with this bait
(Not today McFish, not today)

You have a better memory than I do. I will look if I have any past photos from Murray with that red mark on the bass.
I have caught a few bass at the SD River that I know I may of caught before. There is this one bass with one blurry discolored eye, most likely blind in that eye has fell victim 2 times this year to a plastic craw bait (or maybe it was his cousin?) ha ha ha.

Re: 7/3-Murray again....
That is weird....but that distinct mark gives him away. I guess when he's released he goes back down where other bass see him and probably
say...."Wow that guy is tough to not only escape capture, but even death…he must have nine fish lives."
