Boy what a difference a month makes! After getting blanked my last time out (not even a bite!), was hoping for better things this time out. Arrived about 6:30 to find out there was an ABA tournament there but it didn’t seem to have too many boats.
Water was 58 degrees when I launched and the morning started out slow for me. Finally broke through with my first fish on 2025 on a Chatterbait. Soon lost a decent fish on a crankbait about 10’ from the boat. Once the morning breeze laid down started seeing a few fish up shallow. Picked off a few fish here and there on a dropshot. About noon the water hit 62-63 and the little bucks just flooded the banks. It was clone city. I ended the day with 19 fish. The best five only went a shade under 10lbs. Biggest fish was 2.05 and my smallest was 1.78 to give you an idea of how similar all of my fish were.
If you could find the fish on beds they were really aggressive. I don’t think o spent more than 5min on any one of them. May not have gotten and good sized fish but had a lot of fun none the less.

Nice job @Moose .
Great to see you back on the water and your post. I am guessing that you were smiling behind the sun buff in those pics.
A bass is a bass. Anyway, thanks for sharing and tight lines always.

Hey man it sounds like a really good day. Clones or not catching a bunch is a treat.
