Cap No Cap

Post by DarkShadow »

0330 and we're leaving Los Angeles, en route to beautiful San Diego County, GPS set to El Cap, where we will hopefully not be donating our tournament fees to other anglers in two weeks. And speaking of anglers, even if we fail miserably, least we get free hot dogs for lunch, courtesy of Angler's Marine.

16.1 pounds for our top 5. Squarebills in the morning, and C-rigs when the sun comes up. I got a good bite on the Free Rig too. Big fish was 5.9.

It's about that time of year, guys! Get out and get 'em.

Anglers in their first tournament this year did BBQ for lunch not hot dogs so you may get a better meal than you planned.

You are correct, they did a great and much commended BBQ after the weigh in. And it was a great managed tournament as Angler's does.

We had to leave before then, thus the hot dogs they tossed to boats for lunch statement.
