Almost mid November…

Post by otaymichael »

And thought about that as I was working Topwater halfway through my short session. The report was the bite was terrible, from Lake staff and friends on the water. Decided not to let that bother me too much, and went ahead with the plan to get some Topwater action if I could. Ended up with some nice fish on Buzz Bates, spooks and poppers. Thank you Lord.

PS anybody see the platforms being built on the dam? What the heck?

A couple images from the week before at San V. My Backseater and I did OK. Worked the mud lines. Mostly Topwater again.

Man you did way better than I did yesterday! Great job. Yes, I saw the structures on the dam. I noticed that 2 of them were exactly at the high water mark. Inquiring minds want to know!

I fished there yesterday and had the same question about the platforms? The water level is way down from the last time I was there. I was only there about 3 hours but did manage 3 topwater and a couple of crankbait fish, although all were on the small side.

Great job Michael! Keep those posts coming!

Looks like a lot of us were there this past Saturday! I got a limit from shore, with every bite coming between 5:30 and about 6:15.
