I saw on Facebook that he passed away, that's a big loss for the surf fishing community. I wish his family prayers in this hard time.

I remember Verne from the SC Surf Fishing days. He always had something nice and encouraging to say. When I found out he passed, I looked up his Instagram posts and smiled. <https://www.instagram.com/vernedisney/>
