private charter recommendations?

Post by HK_Supermarket »

Looking to go out for a day for a friend's bach party, preferably offshore. Seeing if anyone has recommendations on charters for 4 people.

Over the years many members on the old SDFish have recommended Brothers Sport Fishing . If money is no object and a high end trip in comfort is warranted Game Changer is a first class outfit . There are so many choices its mind boggling . I fish my own boat so no help as far as experience with any in recent years . If you don't mind a bit of travel , Allyn Watsons boat ,Dreamer , is a good Catalina boat but set up for 6 . Good luck WR

Thanks for the info. I do remember Brothers being recommended quite a bit. Agreed there's so many charters out there that it's hard to know which ones are legit and which ones are just out to make a quick buck. I'll take a look at those options to see pricing and availability.

I have heard good things about Bight Sportfishing as well, however I have not yet taken a trip with them myself.

Check out the impulse out Dana landing. Bachelor party/fishing on a smaller boat like a Parker may be “tight”

WR’s tip on the Game Changer is spot on if money is no object. I don’t think they have many openings during the season though and few if any day trips. Its the absolute dream sportfishing experience for a small charter group up to six.
