Big Rig Bass Fishing challenge( Video)

Post by BassHound905 »

400 miles, 4 stops, 2 baits, 1 rig. As a truck driver that covers lots of miles, its great to be able to stop and explore new things. Last week, I decided to bring a set up as I often drive by areas that I could park the truck and fish but haven't. SO I decided to film it and make a challenge for myself.

A fun way to break up the work day! I think I would bring a dropshot and a Robo MM on waters I don't know. I'm not sure it would be better than what you threw at them! Maybe a 4" senko in Gr. Pumpkin....or a fluke this time of year....I don't know?????

The pure joy of fishing on display there. You can’t catch ‘em if you aren’t trying! And nice rig you are driving there 👍

This is awesome. I've spent the past 20 years driving up and down I-5 visiting my family in NorCal, wanting to do this, but have always been in a rush on the road. I've heard and seen stripers in the aqueduct, and my friend got one at San Luis Reservoir on a clouser, so maybe try a baitfish lure?

That's an awesome video.

On a road trip I made to New Orleans, I made it a challenge to catch a fish in every state. I started at Blythe and caught fish in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and finally Louisiana. All I brought with me was a handful of baits.

(It's pretty funny that the further east I got, the easier it was to catch fish.)
