Thank you for the great report and photos. I will be fishing Barrett for the first time ever on Sunday July 13th from a boat rental. May I ask what is the best time in the morning to arrive at the gate? I've seen different posts for either 3:30am or 4:30am.

Nice! Those crappie are big there. Healthy looking bass. No top water? I know @early release moves a lot and now he has a emotor. No telling where he went. @CorsoEnthusiast gets around. Haven't fished with @pourboy yet, maybe someday.

Just wanted to share a pic of a Barrett beauty caught today and PB by the way. Started at 4:40am fishing with my nephew. Ended the day with well over 50 between both of us. All clones 2-3 lb range and many dinks. All on DS, nedrig, small swim baits and occasional senko.

Totally fun morning! It was definitely slower Sunday than it was the previous weekend, but I managed 24 in about 5 hours which is still a great day at any other lake. After the wind got bad I fished off the shore at Pigs and managed a few more.

Our decision to go back of Hauser was a good idea, we found them on top water. I was able to get them with the frog, a 4 and couple of 3s, popper , plopper also produced but some of the bass was paper thin!

Really cool running into some of the "Junkies" yesterday. We all spoke of what a special place that is and what a privilege to access it. Felt our way out to mid-Hauser in the dark today. Started getting bites on the green pumpkin jig n craws and stayed mostly on that til wrapping it up at 10:30 with 31 for me and a best of 3.2lbs. Was there fishing closer to the front of the lake on Saturday. All jig & worm action for me with the biggest being just over 4.5 on a trick worm. Finished the day with 37 fish. Both of my thumbs are still sore two days later. Always the sign of a great morning!
