The girl and I were lines in a hair before 6 and the bite was on. We fished the rocks in Hauser from the bank out to 15-20 and got bit in all depths. I fished 1/4 to 3/8 pumpkin jigs with summer craw trailers, 7” margarita mutilators, and swimming minnows. Got one on a magic craw chatterbait tipped with a pumpkin green minnow thinking it mimicked a bluegill. The girl, who whupped me pretty good was stroking them on the mutilators mostly but got hot late on the minnows during our lone session late around trees moreso than the rocks. We tracked some boils to that shoreline and they had chased some bait up against it. We got a couple in the middle on the minnow too so maybe the wolfpacks are coming alive?
We were leaving anyway around 11 to tend to my critter but there was lightning starting to flash and a few raindrops coming down. Perfect timing but Im certain we left them biting.

Only about half way. Seemed like the guys who went long were all headed back out early. Could be wrong tho.
