After driving up to find Murray closed on Tuesday, I decided to give it a go this morning.
Seeing that I already caught 2 big catfish in May fishing for bass, I somehow managed to catch another catfish that gobbled down my Texas rigged brush hog. I thought at first it was a nice bass for about 20 ...

If you saw my Tackle Warehouse purchase history, you would see that I am not even close to the point of having to cat burglar tackle from McFish. Besides, he only mostly has 2 inch Robo worms ...

Have an old work and fishing buddy here visiting that bolted to North Carolina in ‘99. We picked up our rivalry right where we left off at El Cap this morning from 6-9:30. He got a white spinnerbait fish quickly and I nabbed one on a micro 1/8 Oz jerkbait. BTW that was on the Dannicus Ark BFS reel ...

Those weedless spooks look awesome. I haven’t got one but have wanted to. I don’t think you could go wrong.

It’s funny I think I see you out there a lot too. It’s easy to recognize you because there’s always a lot of splashing around your float tube and your rods always seem to be bent.

You can walk those spooks through slop and weeds but the hookup ratio is not great.

I ordered a Zoo Pup bait along with with the this crazy looking thing called a Bone Doctor. I plan on trying the latter as a finesse jig trailer. I'll let you all know how they work out for me.

Oh no…not your crankbait?!?! Oh well, it lived a very good life for you! I have a similar plug to that walker. Haven’t hooked a fish on it yet but hooked about everything else that came within a foot of it. Upholstery, fingers, other lures, clothing, you name it! Thanks for the report.
